  Saint Luke's serves the rural communities of Loire, Las Gallinas, and Leming in Atascosa County, Texas. The current building replaces the wood "painted" church buildings in Loire and Las Gallinas lost to fire in the late 20th century. The vibrant community continues the tradition of a fall picnic the first Sunday in October.
